Due to continued strike action at the port of Fos Sur Mer, Strike Surcharge will be applied at € 60 per TEU

 

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. announced last week that due to continued strike action at the port of Fos Sur Mer, its vessels facing severe congestion which unfortunately causes inconveniences and delays.

 

This congestion is a direct result of strike action by terminal workers at Fos Sur Mer port, causing lower port productivity and berthing delays.

 

In response to this situation the company noted that effective 17th January 2011 a revised Port Congestion Surcharge (Strike Surcharge Fos-Sur-Mer – STK) will be applied at € 60 per TEU to all cargo loaded/discharged at Fos Sur Mer, France.
