Within the framework of ZIM integrated shipping services strategy to strengthen its position and brand name worldwide, particularly in the Japanese market and Asia, the company renamed last week its agency in Japan – ZIM Japan Ltd.
Press release issued by the company said that "ZIM has been active in the Japanese market for decades, however recent developments gives a new momentum to the company's activities in Japan. Among other things, the planned deployment of new ships in the near future will undoubtedly have a significant impact on ZIM's Japanese trade, deepening the company's involvement in this prominent market."

Last month the company announced that ZIM had established a new agency – ZIM Vietnam – with offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Haiphong - The Latest Addition to ZIM’s Global Network.
