In accordance with its commitment to constantly improve its services, Zim announces that AUX service, a joint venture between Zim and Lloyd Triestino will start calling the port of Wilmington N.C. instead of Norfolk VA.
 
The choise of the Port of Wilmington was made in response to customers requirements and the concentration of of major distribution centers (DCs) in North Carolina.
 
 
First vessel will be "Zim Adriatic" (ZAD/109E) which will begin Far-East loadings on about January 5, 2005. ETA Wilmington February 7, 2005
 
The service new route:
Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Panama Canal, Colon, Kingston, Port Everglades, Savannah, Wilmington, Kingston, Colon, Panama Canal, Shanghai.
