Zim Integrated Shipping Services posted a net profit of NIS 29 million for the first half of 2007, compared with a net profit of NIS 197 million for the corresponding period. Revenue for the period totaled NIS 7,055 million compared to NIS 6,632 in the parallel.
A press release issued by the company indicated that the increase in revenue was largely due to an increase in quantity shipped and in the level of freight rates as well as from profits generated by the company's subsidiaries.
