Zim, CCNI, Hanjin Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd and Wanhai will cooperate on an Asia - South America East Coast service from April
Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd, Compania Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica (CCNI), (A Chilean shipping company, part of the Empresas Navieras holding), Hanjin Shipping Co., Ltd, Hapag-Lloyd and Wanhai Lines announced last week they will cooperate on a new Asia - South America East Coast service, effective April.
The new service will serve Korea, Central and South China, Singapore, South Africa, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
The new weekly service will deploy eleven TEU 4,200 container vessels: three each from Hanjin and Zim, two each from CCNI and Wanhai, one from Hapag-Lloyd, plus slot purchase from other lines.
Partners are confident their service will provide a viable addition to the trade, offering each their network and expertise in Asia and South America.
