General Rate Increases (GRI) in the cross Atlantic Trade, which will take effect in July, 1st, as follows: USD200.-/20' & USD300.-/40' on all container types
Zim Integrated Shipping Services ltd. announced last week the following General Rate Increases (GRI) in the cross Atlantic Trade, which will take effect in July,1st , 2011.
The GRI applies to cargo From East Mediterranean (Including Israel and the Black sea), West Mediterranean & North Europe/Scandinavia to USA & Canada & Caribbean's Westbound Trade, as follows: USD200.-/20' & USD300.-/40' on all container types.
The company also announced general rate increase (GRI) to westbound cargo from Asia and Indian sub-continent to Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Europe destinations. The increase will be by US$275 per TEU with effect from July 1.
The changes are necessary in order to maintain current levels of service and high reliability.
