Mr. Yehiel Asia predicted that manufacturing exports to Latin American countries will increase this year by 3%

In January 2005 import of goods (excluding diamonds) totaled $2.8 billion, export of goods (excluding diamonds) totaled $2.0 billion and the trade deficit (excluding diamonds) totaled $0.8 billion

Export Institute director General Mr. Yechiel Assia said last week that Israeli exports to Latin America, excluding diamonds, rose in January-September 2004, by 27% to $773 million.
