The Mediterranean Express service (MEX) operated by the Grimaldi Group, linking the Mediterranean to West Africa, will be further strengthened. The upgrade will start on the 4th of July

The line offers nine new ports of call in West Africa in addition to six ports already served. The new ports will be directly linked via the port of Salerno

On August 22 the new single hull vessel "Eurocargo Salerno" will replace M/V Spes which has been on service for several years
