"K" Line's TEU 8000 container vessel "HUMBER BRIDGE", will call Ashdod port on January 14th 2012. The vessel will be the largest container vessel ever to call in Israel. The vessel will be deployed by the CKYH Alliance

Yang Ming's newest TEU 6,572, D.W.T 84,200 container vessel, "Yang Ming Mandate" which was delivered only a few weeks ago called last week at Ashdod port

The Alliance will provide beginning October six services instead of seven - four to north Europe and two to the Mediterranean

The company will remove two TEU 3,500 ships out of the current seven that ply the line

The new service will operate two container vessels and will begin on January 4th

The new ADX service replaces the Mediterranean Express Service (EMX) which was operated until recently by member lines of CKYH Alliance

Zim's membership in the FEFC is subject to regulatory approval which is expected to pass in January

According to the outgoing Ashdod port Chairperson the company has to continue implementing the port development plan and add 100 new employees and should continue the NIS700 million investment program
