Hanjin Shipping Company Ltd. (HJS) announced it had decided to nominate F.C.C. Shipping as its sole port agent in Israel

Following weeks of speculations among shipping circles in Israel, Hanjin Shipping Company Ltd. ( HJS ) announced it had decided to nominate F.C.C. Shipping as its sole port agent in Israel.
 
F.C.C. Shipping is a joint venture of L.L.S Blue Enterprise, Coral Maritime Services  and F.C.Flying Cargo Ltd. Mr. Yoni Izakov, director general of Coral Maritime Services will be the director general of the newly set up agency.
 
The new service which will commence in mid May 2007 is part of the East Mediterranean Express (EMX) service set up by the CKYH Alliance.(An all-Asian carrier CKYH Alliance consisting of COSCO, “K” Line, Hanjin Shipping and Yang Ming).
 
The new service is targeting the Israel/Greece market and enlarging the market coverage through the hub ports, EMX will provide the direct service from Fareast base ports to these two key markets in East Mediterranean. EMX will be operated by seven 3000TEU type vessels, among which Coscon will provide four vessels, YML will provide two vessels and "K" Line will provide one vessel.

Hanjin will market the new service under the code GIX (Greece Israel express ) and its rotation would be as below:
Shanghai - Ningbo - Hong Kong - Shekou - Singapore - Ashdod - Piraeus - Thessaloniki - Singapore - Hong Kong - Shanghai
